Revelstoke

The smell of firewood and mountain rain Bird calls in the waking hours and crisp morning air Wrapping myself tight in a blanket and curling up on deck chairs Alone with my thoughts and the conversation of God

We went to Revelstoke this past weekend and it was one of those rare getaways where it didn't feel like it flew by and suddenly we were going home.  We got to take our time, nap, watch Frozen with the cousins, eat slowly, walk around and take pictures...and it felt so nice.  It was foggy and grey most of the time but didn't rain much, so it created for some moody beauty.
