We didn't set out to make this a Halloween walk, but the dreary skies and bare black trees made it a bit spooky! I love going somewhere where Sloane can lead the way and pick the trail, probably because exploring new trails with few people on them is one of my favourite things too.
At one point on our walk I sprained my ankle and had to take a breather on the ground. She watched me for a couple seconds and then came over and gave me a big hug. A bit of unprompted compassion from this pint sized buddy perked me up pretty quick. How lucky I feel to adventure with her.
Couldn't convince her to leave her calculator "phone" in the car. Addicted already.
Found some "blueberries"
Don't like prickles. Hit prickles.
